Welcome to the Home of
Norsk Skogkattring USA
Norsk Skogkattring USA had its birth from the need for better
communication with Norway and the clubs in Europe and the need for a
breeder only organization that could focus on issues important to
breeders so that we can continue to breed healthy cats for the
preservation of the breed. Our organization also feels that
education is an important factor in any breeder's journey and we plan to
provide not only history of the breed but articles that will help
breeders enhance their breeding programs and enable them to practice
good animal husbandry with knowledge not only of the breed but also cats
in general. As we grow and bring in more members into the fold, we
will be able to also grow within this website and offer more information
for not only breeders but the general public as well.
The only club affiliation we have is with Norsk Skogkattring in Norway
although there are other clubs we fully support in their efforts to
promote and protect the Norwegian Forest Cat. |
